As a Mechanical or Electrical Field Service Engineer at Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, you will provide technical support for the installation of our machinery (corrugator and box making machines) and field service operations. You will frequently travel internationally to assist clients not only with technical support but also by training their operators. Since these assignments will keep you away from home for a period of 4 to 7 weeks each time, you will enjoy considerable freedom in your role and special recovery time in the Netherlands to ensure a healthy work-life balance.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Assisting with the installation of MHIE machines;
• Supporting field service operations (e.g., periodic check-ups, renovations, maintenance);
• Writing reports on installations and field service activities;
• Collaborating with and training client operators.

Wat breng jij als Field Service Engineer Mechanical/Electrical

You are an experienced and adventurous Mechanical Engineer or Electrical Engineer with strong technical expertise and problem-solving skills. You are a Engineer who enjoys being hands-on with the installation, maintenance, and servicing of our machines.

You enjoy traveling and have no issues being away from home for extended periods. Clients can always rely on you, and you are fluent spoken and written English.

Additionally, you have:

• MBO level 4 /Bachelor mechanical engineering or electrical Engineering;
• At least 3 years of experience as a Engineer;
• Experience in large machine building, industrial manufacturing, or a related field;
• EU passport;
• Living in the Netherlands, Germany or the Czech Republic;
• Good command of the English language and preferably a second language.
